You can hop the trails by the Verde River, hop on the nearby Verde Canyon Railroad in Clarkdale or visit Tuzigoot National Monument. Plus, Cottonwood is only 15 minutes from Jerome, the historic mining town and Cornville, Arizona’s wine country. Cottonwood is a great central location to visit these many Northern Arizona attractions!

  • "Best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had"

    This was one of the best (if not the best) Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. The place was furnished well, plenty of space, peaceful, and overall wonderful. We were not looking to stay in a touristy area, so this was perfect. 30 minutes from Sedona, hour and a half from Phoenix. I have already told my friends about it for their next trip. Highly recommend!!

    What an amazing space! The area is perfect for relaxing and Cottonwood is a magical little town. It was a breath of fresh air to be able to head to Sedona for a nice hike and return back to this lovely space to just relax and feed the ducks. The vibe was great and the host is so incredibly attentive to detail. I want to live here not just stay for a couple of days. :)

    "The Duck Pond is such a quaint and relaxing home."

    All 3 bedrooms were well decorated and had very comfortable beds. The living room has a serene view of the duck pond with floor to ceiling windows that let the sun flood the home in the mornings. Once the sun goes down it is pitch black outside. This made star viewing amazing! I had considered staying nearer to Sedona before our trip. No way I could imagine that being as serene and relaxing! Cottonwood has a much slower, homier and welcoming atmosphere compared to the touristy, expensive feeling in Sedona. I just couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. I will definitely rebook here when I make another visit to AZ. Huge thanks to Wendy and her team!
