Top 5 BEST Restaurants in Cottonwood, AZ
When we visit our Duck Pond A-Frame home, we have a list of favorite places to hit before we leave. It’s really hard to try anywhere else because these places are so stellar!
1. Pizzeria Bocce
Located at the end of Old Town, this wood-fired pizza joint has a huge patio with fire pits, a pizza bar (like a sushi bar) where you can watch the food be prepared and some yummy wine and cocktails.

Favorite Seat: at the pizza bar watching all the things get made OR at a fire pit
Favorite App: Bocce Balls
Favorite Drink: Garden Mule
Favorite Pizza: impossible to decide
2. Colt Grill
They’re grilling and smoking lots of meat up at Colt. You can’t go wrong. Even the salad eating folks will be happy here. They’re huge!
Locations: Old Town Cottonwood
Favorite Meal: Jalapeno Popper Burger or any Platter
3. Crema Craft Kitchen
Breakfast, brunch or lunch…. this place is so good. Great espresso drinks and bloody mary’s if you’re ready to get the party started. It has a pseudo outdoor space where you feel outside, but it’s fully enclosed and comfortable. Design nerds will like the shipping container turned bar in the “outdoor” space.

Favorite Drink: bloody mary made with their in house infused vodka
Favorite Food: I’ve liked the skillet I ordered but I’ve seen 100 other things I want to try so the jury is still out.
4. Merkin Vineyards Tasting Room and Osteria
If you want to eat and drink local, head to Merkin and experience farm to table meals and wines produced right here in Arizona. The bread and pasta is handmade in house, as well as the gelati and sorbetti.

Favorite Entree: Merkin Mac & Cheese
Favorite Drink: wine tasting flights. :)
5. Farm a GoGo
Ok technically not in Cottonwood, buuttt it’s my list so I can do what I want. Farm a GoGo is located nearby in Cornville, AZ. The farm fresh and season ingredients, cured meats, fermenting, pickling and housemade sauces make this place so delicious.

Favorite: I loved the sandwich I had but the menu changes so….
