Scottsdale Wine Trail

Carlson Creek Vineyard’s Malbec

This was the 2nd stop on our first go at the Scottsdale Wine Trail. What stood out to me at this tasting room was the seating. They had some bench style seating with cushions and it just looked like a really comfortable place to sit and chill with friends. I really enjoy a set up where you feel you can sit comfortably, but also be able to talk to everyone at the table, not just the person next to you. There is also an outside patio if you want to enjoy the outdoors.

We loved the red wine and chocolate pairing, because chocolate, obviously. I also tried a 6 flight tasting that included a Rose that we bought of a bottle of to bring home. The servers were friendly and attentive!

One thing that could be improved is that the tastings all come at once with a sheet of paper I could barely read. Something was up with the printer that day or maybe it was just worn out or maybe my eyes are just old.

Scottsdale Wine Trail

The Scottsdale Wine Trail is a self-guided tour of 6-7 tasting rooms offering an Arizona wines. The actual vineyards are hours away, so this is a great way to get to know them all in one location. Each tasting room provides a different perspective on winemaking, showcasing the versatility and quality of Arizona wines.
